I just removed all my stuff from my external hardrive to re format and this happens right after. I truly don't want to lose anything if my hardrive indeed has a problem if that is part of what I read as a list of three problems it could be.
I have a hp pavillion g6 dx with 8 GB. There were no signs of my harddrive being corrupted beforehand at least any known ones to me. I also believe my drivers are up to date, though I could be wrong. If it helps, my laptop did begin to slow to a crawl, start freezing, and restarting on it's own. I wasn't there in person to witness it though.
I can't seem to find anyone with the same problem of not getting past the black screen. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another. Any content of an adult theme or inappropriate to a community web site.

Thanks for your feedback. OK, after long hours of trying to solve this using this link: click here and the normal way from microsoft. I still get the same issues. It still gives a black screen immediately after the logo and spinning icon or right after saying Automatic Repair.
